About the job

Hello there!

We are looking for a Post Production Supervisor! We are a super busy production and post house, running post on several projects at once, and we’re looking for a talented and organized post sup to work under our head of Post Production. We move at a very fast pace with lots of moving parts so attention to detail is a must. In addition to the post sup skill set, we are looking for someone who knows current post software and has the ability to jump in, and lend a hand when needed (Editing/Asst Editing). You’d be joining a team of awesome, funny people really love what they do and we’re looking to bring someone with positive energy, good sense of humor, insane work ethic and the experience to help take our projects to the next level.

Duties May Include

-Supervision and management of multiple projects on a daily basis.
-Support a post production environment with 10 edit bays (primarily Adobe CS/Mac based), with several networked data servers.
-Must be client facing and able to interface with clients on a positive and professional level.
-Must be crazy detail oriented and an excellent multitasker.
-Overseeing and organizing projects on our hard drive archive workflow.
-Managing data workflow on servers.
-Create and Monitor Schedules and ensure deadline delivery.
-Strong ability to perform assistant editor tasks such as transcoding, syncing, logging (when needed)
-Circulating notes to editors and assistant editors - then tracking and double-checking those notes through the life of any given project.
-Working to understand “big picture” notes for each project, as well as understanding client needs and goals.
-Working with the staff to ensure each completed note is making the project better, getting us closer to finish and not just checking a box.
-QC'ing offline edits and masters to catch and resolve mistakes before delivery.
-Trafficking edits to clients and communicating the status of that edit in a clear, organized and uniform way. -Evaluate potential technical workflow and stability improvements.
-Train staff on new systems and current workflow.

-BA/BS Degree preferred
-3-5 Years + experience in Commercial Post Production
-Ability to handle a fast paced environment supervising several projects in various points of production (from development through delivery)
-Familiar with the current trends and workflows for both HD, 4K, 360/VR
-Ability to respond after hours for important, timely or urgent matters
-Team-player who operates in a fast paced team-oriented setting
-Willingness to continue learning the evolving post processes and software
-Working knowledge of Multiple Video formats & frame rates, NLE’s such as Premiere, Avid, Resolve, After Effects, as well as round tripping and online workflow. THIS IS A MUST!
- Familiarity with Wiredrive, Google Docs, Excel and all other organization and archive platforms.
-Ability to learn quickly and be self-motivated
-Have excellent communication skills: written and spoken (including the ability to assist non-technical staff with complex technical issues)
-Flexibility of schedule is needed. Some weekend work will happen from time to time.
-True believer that no job is to small and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and give each project what it needs to be great.
-Skills in graphics, production, editing, data management, etc. Need to be able to participate in projects as well as delegate.
