About the job

Working in the Office of Public Affairs, the Multimedia Content Producer will develop and tell important University stories, showcase the work of faculty and the achievements of students through video, photography, and animation on the web, social media, and other platforms.

The Multimedia Content Producer should be an exceptional story teller who is able to work independently to identify and develop interesting stories; to interview faculty, students, and administrators on sometimes complex subject matter; to enlist vendors for specialized story telling (such as animation); and to work under tight deadlines and produce content quickly. In producing content in various media, he or she should possess an appealing 'voice,' but also remember that he or she will be representing the University, and thus must be able to work within NYU's institutional expectations.
