Netflix is on the hunt for a smart, motivated and customer service centric individual to join the AV Team. This position will be based out of our Los Angeles office.

The AV team is responsible for building, maintaining and supporting conference rooms, training spaces, screening rooms and AV equipped offices. In Los Gatos, there are more than 300 rooms and more than 200 in Los Angeles that the team currently manages. The team is highly encouraged to innovate to optimize the user experience.

As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for making sure rooms meet our standards at all times. Cable management, hardware upgrades, configuration and software updates. You are empowered to look for ways to optimize the conference room experience for users and maintenance. The role will require an early or late start with some hours outside normal business hours.

Recommended Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years experience with conference rooms
Background in corporate conference room technology, VC, screening room equipment, projection rooms
Experience with AV integration on the integrator and/or corporate side, with a focus on physical installation
Experience with video conferencing systems like Chromebox for Meetings and cloud bridging services such as Vidyo
Working knowledge of H.323, SIP and VoIP protocols
Understanding of networking technology, video transmission over network and audio/video signal flow
Experience working with Crestron equipment, audio DSP’s and Dante microphone systems
Comfortable working with Mac OS, Windows, Google Apps
