Six show tour across southern England and Wales. Responsible for liaising with venue technicians ahead of arrival and leading get in and get out. Operated sound and lights using Qlab 3 and D::Light. Excellent knowledge of show and lighting design allowed customisation of both rig and cues to suit individual venues.

Two night run of 11:11 Productions' show The Man Who Lost His Mind at the White Bear Theatre. Utilised in house lighting rig for off-peak show, demonstrating creativity and knowledge of the venue to full effect. Operated lights live, with sound from Qlab 3.

December 2013 – Sound Designer and Show Operator with Front Foot Theatre: Sole responsibility for creating and collating sound effects and soundscapes for Front Foot Theatre's production of The Seagull at the White Bear Theatre. Plotting and operating sound within Qlab 3 for duration of the show run. Installed and set up show relay system for actors. Operating lights in addition to sound. January 2014, at the request of the theatre's Artistic Director, returned to spec. and install a permanent show relay system within the theatre.

Utilised excellent technical and interpersonal skills as both stage manager and front of house engineer for the Lounge Bar stage (2012) along with the late night Lodge Stage (2013 & 2014). Shown proficiency in a wide range of digital mixing consoles such as Yamaha M7CL and PM5D, Midas Pro 2. Demonstrated excellent technical knowledge with flying of speaker systems and rigging of lighting systems alongside building rostra based staging and lighting trussing across five stages with sound system supplier. Assisted bands and crew team with loading and unloading trucks and on-stage band changeovers across the Main and In The Dock stages. In 2012, as stage manager in Lounge Bar, given responsibility of site-wide radio for that area. Will turn hand to anything where required, integral part of festival site team that built perimeter fence, erected toilets, backstage fencing and dressing room set up prior to site opening, then taking down post festival.

April 2012 - Present - Performing Arts Technician at the SPACE Performing Arts Centre: Operation, organisation and maintenance of technical resources of the Performing Arts Centre, comprising of concert hall, recital room, drama studio and theatre. Providing technical support for both rehearsals and shows across all four venues plus outdoor theatre. Provision of support for a wide variety of performance genre, including dance (Red Cross ‘Make your Move'), theatre (touring companies such as the Theatre Centre), classical music (internationally renowned musicians such as John Williams, Alda Dizdari and Emma Johnson) and popular music (Joe Stilgoe, Bollywood Brass Band (10 piece brass and percussion), and The Halstead Jazz Club and BBC Big Bands). Responsible for rigging, plotting, focusing and operating lights along with working closely with directors on design for lighting, sound and sets for both visiting and in house productions – photos of set design/construction available on request. Sole responsibility for the specification, rigging and operation of sound systems for Pop/Rock concerts in a classical concert hall setting. Excellent practical knowledge of both digital and analogue mixing consoles such as Yamaha LS9 and Soundcraft GB2. Continual maintenance of lighting and sound equipment including lanterns, cabling and speakers. To support this is also a qualified PAT testing practitioner. Provide regular guidance and instruction sessions for student technicians. Support students with mentoring and coaching to develop their skills ‘on the job' during productions. Provision of audio visual support for conferences and lectures, for example Charlie Higson's book tour presentation.

September 2008 - Present - Freelance Sound Engineer: As permanent engineer for 9-piece function band The Big Kahuna, demonstrated excellent efficiency in rigging and setting up FoH and monitor system in many different, often less-than-ideal, scenarios and spaces. Initially took on role as a dep but excellent performance led to being given permanent role within the band. Illustrated in depth knowledge of recording systems, both studio and location based working with a wide variety of musicians both as an engineer and producer. Samples of work mixed both in- and out of- ‘the box‘ can be found at More than six years experience of working within Logic Pro and Pro Tools on the Apple platform. Strong understanding of the importance of planning and organisational skills. Sole responsibility for planning/timetabling recording and mixing sessions using a number of studios and recording techniques for different instruments. Maintained awareness of client expectations from conception to delivery.
