Multi skilled Exec Producer, Series Creator, Series Producer, Director, Show Writer, Editor and Theme Music Composer currently based in New York City.
Nigel has just completed two Monster Week Specials for Animal Planet via Half Yard Productions of Bethesda, Md, and is now Co-EPing new episodes of A Haunting for Destination America via New Dominion Pictures.
Previously he was Show Runner and Co EP of Wicked Attraction - a show that uses dramatic, stylized reconstructions of crimes, for the Discovery I.D. Channel and is screened in more than 100 countries around the world.
Nigel produced seasons 2 - 5 , as well as being co-creator of Pretty Bad Girls - a new crime series by M2 Pictures for ID.
Nigel has produced highly successful ground-breaking documentaries and current affairs, reality series, historical epics, verite, secret camera and news shows.
He also specializes in high-end show reels for successful individuals chasing their own TV exposure.
He has produced some of the biggest names in the industry - including Martin Bashir, Sir Trevor McDonald, war correspondent Michael Nicholson OBE, and Double Oscar Winner Emma Thompson.
Assignments have taken him around the globe, on aircraft carriers and submarines, inside Saddam Hussein's Iraq, to Turkey after an earthquake, and to East Timor as Australian troops moved in to quell an uprising.
He can shoot when required, direct multi-camera shoots in the field or studio, edit on Final Cut, Avid and Premiere, compose affordable soundtracks, and write a compelling script.
His first full length documentary won a prestigious Royal Television Society trophy for the WW2 epic Last Post on the River Kwai, filmed on location in Thailand and Singapore.
He is interested in quality TV projects, originating and directing advertising and promo shoots, and conceiving and producing high end show reels that make an impact.
He can create the look and format of a show from a paper brief, and enjoys working on programs that offer quality, are highly original, and most important of all - delivering memorable TV that produces great ratings.
