Feature Film Production Office Assistant
About the job
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic self-starter for a part-time Production Office Assistant. This person will report directly to the company's managing producers and will be involved in the development, production and distribution of feature-length motion pictures. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential. Our producers have a track record of success screening their work around the world at film festivals (Sundance, etc.) and on television.
20-35 hours a week. This is an hourly wage position. Pay commensurate with experience.
Basic knowledge of film production (examples include working as a PA, studying film, etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work with a team or independently.
Fluency with Macintosh OS, and MS Word, MS Excel, Google Docs, and Dropbox applications.
Experience working in a film and/or television production office environment.
Marketing and/or social media outreach experience.
Design and graphics software knowledge (e.g, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Apple Pages, etc.)
Scheduling or Budgeting software experience (MovieMagic, etc.)
