We are now accepting applications for the Associate Course Director, Art History position in its Film Bachelor Science of Degree Program.
Associate Course Directors ensure excellence in teaching skills and classroom content. They support the Course Director’s curriculum vision and direction, and assist with teaching online courses, and administrative responsibilities as assigned. Associate Course Directors ensure personal service to students. They also maintain continuing education as defined in the faculty development plan.
The Art History Course introduces students to selected, impactful monuments of art and architecture in the Western tradition from the prehistoric to post-modernism era studied in relation to the intellectual background of the ages and civilizations that produced them. Lectures accompanied by various visual mediums inspire discussions of assigned readings in philosophical, religious, scientific, political, literary, artistic, and cultural contexts.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Art, Art History or related field and a Master’s degree in Art History, Communications or Education. Teaching experience is preferred and the candidate must have a passion for education.
Education/Training: The minimum degree requirement is a Master’s degree.
Skills Needed: Broad base of knowledge of art, art history, and the entertainment industry. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Proficiency in Mac or PC platforms. Must have strong social media skills.
