OVERVIEW

We are a high growth start-up originating from London. Over the past three years we have built a game-changing, cutting edge technology platform, which has been initially used for casting, booking and paying background artists. We are used across a range of top films and TV productions; credits include exclusive use on Spectre, Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens and Wonder Woman. As we enter a period of rapid growth, we are extending the platforms functionality and expanding into the US.

We are looking to add one of our first key players to the New York Team. Someone with Account Management and customer facing experience, as well as extensive knowledge of the US casting industry and a love of film and technology. The role will be focused on supporting the launch of our casting portal technology in New York. You will be someone who can embrace the challenge of growing a start-up business and establishing us as the leading platform for casting services in New York.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Account Management
Support existing client user base
Onboard and train new users with our casting portal booking technology.
First point of contact and support for casting users with technical queries and on going training

Brand Ambassador
Developing the client user base of Extras Casting Directors and Extras Casting Companies in New York.
Increase brand awareness, generating an interest for potential new customers, and helping to differentiate our platform amongst our target market and competitors
Responsible for building a network of strong relationships with industry professionals, including but not limited to sourcing and attending networking events, securing one on ones

Community Building
Oversee the Community Co-Coordinator’s administration of role and contact with artists.
Support the development of the New York community build strategy and encourage generating and implementing ideas for increasing the number of background artists applying to POP.

EXPERIENCE

Required
3+ years experience in Extras Casting in the US
Broad knowledge and interest in Extras Casting
Broad knowledge and interest in technology
Experience in Account Management
Experience in networking and building field relationships

Desired
Experience in a start up
Experience in film, TV, media or entertainment
Experience in training individuals or a team
Knowledge of New York
