Looking for a post/story-producer for the second season of an Animal Planet law enforcement show. The show is action-oriented and strong on both story and quirky characters. Set in the Maine woods, it includes elements of outdoor adventure shows and police procedurals.
Ideal experience includes being able to craft multi-beat story arcs from verite doc material. Post producer will create stringouts on Final Cut from assigned stories and work with editor to build one hour episode of intercutting stories. Experience on shows like "The First 48", "Border Wars" or "Whale Wars" would be a plus. Must be a strong writer and know how to use VO to build up suspense and drama.
