About the Job
We need a Producer of Marketing and Distribution to manage all the marketing and publicity for our narrative feature film, which will be filmed in Indiana in August 2013.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): design the film website, design postcards and print ads, write press releases for the film, regularly update social networking sites, create an Electronic Press Kit and a traditional press kit, brainstorm ways to distribute the film via the internet, organize community premieres and events throughout Indiana, create and implement a marketing campaign for the film, and write a weekly blog post for the website.
Most responsibilities can be done online.
This project is an ultra-low budget feature film, funded through individual donations and grant awards. The Producer of Marketing and Distribution will receive payment upon hiring and contingent compensation after the film is finished.
