Welcome to a new regular feature in the Media Match forum - Quick tips on helping our users make the most of their profile and utilize all the available tools here on the website.
Today we look at the option of receiving instant job alert emails, as well as touching on notifications of friend requests and new messages.
Firstly, log into Media Match as per usual.
Next, click on “My Profile” via the top toolbar, click “Email Settings” from the Privacy and Account Settings in the right hand menu, and then click on the “Alerts” tab at the top of your profile. (fig. 1)
You will now see each kind of alert which can be included in an email: wall postings, friend requests, friend confirmation, personal messages, paid job alerts and unpaid job alerts. Here you can You can select to receive both paid and unpaid job alerts instantly. You also have the option of compiling some of your profile notifications into one end-of-day email by clicking on the ‘Daily Report’ buttons. When you have selected your otpions, don’t forget to click “Save”. (fig. 2)
You will then receive an email as soon as a relevant job is posted to our jobsboard, giving you instant access to urgent vacancies from employers. (fig. 3)
