I'm seeking a regular, full-time position at a major network here in Washington DC.
I've only worked freelance and am seeking a salary comparison.
I am an associate producer with Final cut pro editing skills with over 3 years of experience.
My day rate is 300/day. How much can I expect salary wise?

I have creativity abilities and I have a lot of experience in media entertainment but can't seem to get the break I need to launch a media revolution. Is there anyone looking for a Creative Director?

First of all there are TWO functions listed. An Associate Producer is one and an Editor is another.
If Editor situation is non union and credit experience is involved, the rate will vary depending on whose equipment you use.
Hrly Rate w/ equipment can be 25-100
Hrly Rate w/o equipment should be 15-75
AP salaries vary wildly depending on video or film, venue of telecast (network, cable, home video, etc.) and length of gig.
Generally Wkly is 1,000-2,500 but negotiable depending on real list of duties, venues, length of gig, benefits (if any).
Don't undersell yourself, be ready to walk away, but trust your gut and negotiate.
