About the Job

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify and develop new domestic and international partnership opportunities and target emerging businesses new to WWE's existing portfolio, leveraging our wide range of assets
Manage full life-cycle business development; including creation and management of business plans, qualification and evaluation of strategic fit, positioning, bidding, competitive analysis, deal negotiations, and related activities
Grow existing businesses in developed international markets, such as Western Europe and lead the development of business operations in emerging markets, including China, India, Asia and Latin America
Identify potential acquisition opportunities
Manage cross-divisional issues and focus on growth opportunities in key areas, including TV, Pay-per-View, Films, Live Events, Digital Media, and Consumer Products
Support COO on key business planning processes including operating budgets, long term planning, quarterly updates, and Board of Directors meetings
Assist COO on critical operational projects such as cross department communication, monthly business updates and external communications
Identify top business, community and government influencers that COO can meet with and deliver the WWE message
Interact effectively with internal and external senior executives in General Management, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Legal, etc.
Requirements REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of ten years experience in global business development with a Media, Entertainment, Sports, or similar organization
Demonstrated ability to generate new business while also maintaining and growing existing business
Strong negotiator with proven track record of forging new relationships and partnerships, and closing both six and seven-figure business deals
Superior organizational, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Detail-oriented, able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and excellent general business sense
Can-do attitude and willingness to roll-up-sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job done
Energetic, self-motivated, and driven to achieve positive results
Able to work effectively across many different cultural markets
Willing and able to travel 25-50% and be on-call 24/7 as needed
Bi-lingual a plus
