VFX Coordinator

About the Job

We are a Visual Effects company located blocks from the Venice boardwalk in Venice Beach. We are a full service post-production company specializing in vehicle and environmental texture, lighting and animation. We are looking for a seasoned VFX Coordinator to manage and organize our current project.

As a VFX Coordinator you will be managing the digital assets including: 3D modeling, animation, texture, lighting, plate keying, roto and compositing. You will be working with senior level feature and broadcast artists to help manage their time and tasks. You will also be creating presentation movie files, posting review material and updating production management tools.

You will also be required to perform basic production duties from time to time, including: organizing artist and client meals, basic office duties and data input.

Requirements:
- Must have 2 years of VFX production experience with a good understanding of VFX creation
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office (word, excel, etc...)
- Proficient note taking skills
- Final Cut pro, Quicktime pro and After Effects experience is a plus

This position is open immediately and will extend for 6-7 weeks with a possibility of future project positions. You must be available to work the days around Xmas and the New Year holidays. Must be able to play well with others and generally be a nice person. We function as a family here and will not tolerate bad apples.
