About the Job
We are looking for a creative dynamo to be part of our award-winning promotion department in San Diego, California. Specifically, we are searching for a dynamic writer/producer to take our Late News topicals to the next level. This position requires a highly creative pro, and will have a hand in topical news, station image campaigns, and special projects. Position requires the ability to work well with others in a team environment, meet deadlines under pressure and manage multiple projects. Candidates must have the ability to work as a self-starter and be able to communicate effectively. Candidates must also be proficient in Final Cut Pro, possess strong copywriting skills, and have excellent writing skills as well as quick, creative editing skills. A minimum 2 years previous experience working in a promotions department at a television station is required. Please provide writing and video samples of your work when applying.
