TV commercial editor/Editing Gig

About the Job

We are seeking an accomplished Eugene/Springfield Oregon non-linear editor and shooter with recent experience on national and local direct response TV commercials. Responsibilities include editing commercials and occasional product shoots in SD and HD. Precision work a requisite. Strong ability to create a visual narrative without supervision. Screenwriting ability and film background preferred. Awards a plus. Good spelling is required. Knowledge of all phases of production and post-production is essential. Experience with meeting broadcast standards and creating web video formats. This is a creative, fast-paced, deadline focused environment. The best candidate will be enthusiastic, upbeat, well-organized, with an attention to detail, uncompromising work quality, and willingness to take direction. Contract, part-time or full-time possible. The location for the position is Eugene/Springfield, Oregon. Candidates should be local to Eugene/Springfield Oregon. Direct response TV commercial editing experience is very important.

Contractors must own a Final Cut Pro editing system.
