Testimonial Casting Associate

We are looking for a Testimonial Casting Associate to join our exciting team of creative professionals! We are a fun, hard-working bunch located in cool offices in SOMA.

The ideal candidate will be bright, confident, and love connecting with people. An interest in skincare is a plus!

This position is responsible for finding, developing, and producing the stories of customers who have real-life experiences with our products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Positive representation of brands through customer contact process
• Development and execution of testimonial recruitment plans
• Recruitment and management of product user groups to produce potential testimonials. This requires nationwide travel.
• Outbound calling to follow up on testimonial leads provided through various sources
• Relationship building with potential testimonial customers
• Evaluation of and development of testimonial leads that are appropriate for television.
• Development of positioning/story angle for strongest on-air candidates
• Ability to pitch producers and executives on developed stories
• Hold responsibility for production elements that relate to testimonials (travel, background materials, crew resources, etc.)
• On-set handling of testimonials selected for photos and television interviews. This requires nationwide travel.
• Assist in the edit process
• Assist Project Executive Producers in whatever way needed.
• Substantial data entry related to prospective testimonials


REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Superior phone etiquette
• Superior typing skills
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Ability to work with changing deadlines
• Experience using FileMaker Pro or comparable database program
• Familiarity with the Macintosh environment
• Good team player that can work independently


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA/BS degree
• 2+ years experience in a business environment, preferably with high customer contact
• 2+ years of film/TV production experience
