About the Job
Conceptualize and translate network and product brand positioning(s) into high profile image and educational promotion - directing each project from pre-production through creative to production, post-production, delivery and approvals.
Responsibilities:
* Research, write, produce, direct and supervise post production of promotion and on-air presentation support and other video production as assigned
* Develop concepts, pitch/review with management, Legal, Marketing and Partners
* Coordinates samples and on-call staff
* Manages crew
* Able to manage and prioritize projects
* Must meet corporate goals of quality, esthetics, and overall brand
* Effectively and efficiently direct talent with authority in field shoots, studio shoots, and voice-over recording sessions when required
* Create comprehensive and accurate budgets within project parameters for all productions assigned to you
* Integrate visual, music, and voiceover assets to create cohesive, informative, and engaging promotion
* Collaborate effectively with creative contributors including sound designers, creative directors, and graphic designers as necessary
* Deliver projects to creative specifications within assigned budget parameters
* As needed, schedule, supervise, or create production grids, booking sheets, call sheets, and voiceover recording for all productions assigned to you
Minimum Requirements:
* 5+ years experience as a Director/Producer
* 2-3 years in a leadership role in a TV/Film environment
* Highly creative, poised, and innovative
* Able to quickly adapt to ever-changing needs and expectations while maintaining high creative standards
* Highly detail oriented
* Proven ability to work effectively with celebrity talent in a high-visibility environment
* Professional communication with excellent oral and written skills
* Able to perform in a fast-paced and pressurized environment while meeting firm deadlines
* Competency in creating a budget encompassing all activities from pre-production through post-production to delivery
* Able to prioritize multiple projects and assignments
Preferred Requirements:
* Undergraduate degree in related field or equivalent experience
* Experience in FCP post-production including editing, graphics, and audio
* Experience with a national television network including an understanding of the operations and structure
* Retail promotion experience
