Senior Post Production Engineer and Technician

About the Job

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist and guide the editors in maintaining post facilities.
- Maintain archiving files on our server and backing up sessions for our editors.
- Lead a team of post-productions support technicians on a deputy-capacity.
- Recommend post-prod work flows based on existing and proposed equipment.
- Ensure 24x7 post-productions operations.
- Ensure redundant, resilient and disaster recovery-ready fail-over contingencies for post- productions.
- Ensure that the technical requirements of post-prod clients are met on a timely & efficient manner.
- Manage multiple projects and work efficiently with tight deadlines in a professional manner.
- Responsible to head of post-production.
- Perform other reasonable tasks and duties assigned by superior and/or any changes in the role due to organizational restructuring and realignment effected from time to time.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
- Must have at least 2-3 years professional experience in a Post facility working with Final Cut Pro systems.

Skills/Abilities:
- Good understanding of film/video technologies, online/offline procedures, broadcast media, compression, codecs, etc..
- Know how to work in a Mac environment, file conversion techniques, and troubleshooting all Post Operations is essential.
- Must be proficient in Final Cut Pro and needs to be qualified in the operation of all digital formats.
- Must be able to work with team members to help determine standards and procedures for production.

Education:
- Must possess a Bachelor’s or College Degree in Art/ Design/ Creative Multimedia/ IT or equivalent.
