About the Job
#1 Television station in Alaska is seeking an individual to become our full-time primary Satellite NewsGathering Truck Operator. Applicant must be at least 21 years old, be willing to travel on a moments notice, be flexible, enthusiastic and work with a positive attitude, have basic engineering aptitude, be able to troubleshoot both electronic and vehicle problems, be willing to work in adverse weather conditions, and be comfortable working on your own. The successful applicant will be required to pass a Class B CDL Alaska drivers test and must have a clean driving record. Must be able to lift 70 lbs. We are willing to train a person with the right attitude and aptitude. Based in Anchorage but the position will take you all over the state and northern Canada.
Schedule: Mon – Fri, 2:00pm – 11:00pm (may vary).
