Receptionist/Office Assistant
Position Summary:
The Office Assistant works under the direction of the General Manager to perform administrative support duties to the station.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Answers and routes all incoming telephone calls.
Makes tape dubs for clients/viewers as necessary.
Opens and sorts incoming mail.
Orders and restocks supplies for the station.
Provides administrative support.
Other duties as assigned by General Manager
Minimum Qualifications – All must be met to be considered.
High school diploma or equivalent. One to two years previous office support experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of basic office procedures and equipment.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to operate and manage incoming calls on multiple phone lines.
Computer skills utilizing Microsoft software including Excel, Outlook, and Word preferred.
Must possess attention to detail with ability to follow projects or processes through to completion.
Must be able to maintain a positive attitude and communicate well.
