About the Job

The Production Coordinator is a member of the Production Department, which manages over 100 television programs in various stages of completion. The Production Coordinator provides support to Production Managers in the day-to-day administration of programs. The ideal candidate excels at organizing and refining work processes.

Responsibilities: Coordinate program deliverables using the digital asset management system Update and maintain program details in database Administer and track producer payments Traffic physical and digital media Coordinate delivery of programs to broadcasters Coordinate department meetings, retreats, and producer orientations Field questions from the public Provide administrative support as necessary

Requirements: BA or equivalent experience 2-3 years experience in an administrative role Experience with project coordination, creating and refining workflows Thrives and excels in a fast-paced, high-performing environment Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and telephone skills Experience with FilemakerPro, MS Word and MS Excel Knowledge of file transfer protocol systems (preferred) Knowledgeable about public television (preferred) Experience or training in film or video production and postproduction (preferred)
