Production Assistant

About the Job

Support in execution of newscast; floor directing; prompter operations, camera/floor, audio board operator; other duties as assigned by manager.
High school diploma; associate?s degree preferred
Candidate must have full working knowledge of basic electronic production operations, including studio camera operation, audio operation, and non-linear editing; excellent written and verbal communication skills; computer proficiency; ability to work on deadline, anticipate and solve problems required; news production experience is preferred.
One year experience in broadcast or cable operations master control, audio, or studio operations.
