About the Job
We are currently seeking a Product Development Specialist.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a small-to-mid-sized company, project managing the development of technology-based products. Candidate will of coordinate the development of TMB’s proprietary products and also the process for adoption of exclusively distributed products. Candidate will oversee up-to 20-30 projects simultaneously, from conception through to successful launch and stocking of new product. This individual interfaces with several departments including, Marketing, Technical Support, Sales, Quality Control, Inventory and Finance. Position reports to the CEO. Some understanding of lighting, video, audio and digital technology on a technical level is highly preferable.
The Product Development Specialist shall be responsible for overseeing all proprietary R&D projects, including shepherding TMB products from conception to market and guiding any improvements to existing proprietary products. The position demands the utmost in clear, effective communication skills in order to collaborate with TMB’s development partners around the world. Position is responsible for technical operations related to TMB’s proprietary products, including but not limited to:
•Coordinating and augmenting marketing, technical and QC documentation for products
•Liaising with Internal and External Resources and also Vendors and Testing Labs
•Assisting in the creation of technical data, and the flow of all technical product information
•Maintaining accurate status records of all projects in the development or adoption process
•Expediting the speedy bringing to market of well-conceived quality products
