About the Job

Job Description:
Write news copy, edit news copy, and occasionally edit videotape
Coordinate satellite feeds and oversee daily franchises
Responsible for graphic look of the newscast
Be aware of current events and contribute to daily editorial meetings
Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned

Experience Required:
Minimum of 2 years experience television news producing in a small to medium market preferred

Other Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years experience television news producing in a small to medium market preferred
INews experience preferred
Contribute story ideas daily in editorial meetings
Knowledge of news gathering; bring ideas to editorial meetings
Ability of make quick decisions
Must demonstrate the ability to exercise good news judgment and management of people
Ability to meet daily deadlines, work independently, and work well under pressure especially in breaking news situations
Computer knowledge preferred
Experience with DVC-Pro and Edit Star editing equipment helpful
