I’m an NYU-trained writer-director who needs a producer/fundraiser to raise $100K for a touching 33-minute short film about a retired man who finds a unique way to cope with the death of his wife. I'm not sure the film can be packaged as a money-making enterprise, so the $100K will probably have to be in donations. (There is no up-front money—you get paid $X above the $100K when you raise the $100(plus X)K.) I understand this is a very tall order, but that's what I need to make the movie happen. Everyone loves the script, and it features 3 retirement-age romantic leads (1 male, 2 female), which might interest some name actors who no longer work as much as they’d like.
