Part Time Production Assistant

About the Job

Description: You’ll keep the North Texas/Southern Oklahoma region updated with accurate, dependable forecasts and current conditions. We are located in the heart of tornado alley, which means knowledge of severe weather is a must. You’ll also serve as back-up for our other established meteorologists during the week.

Responsibilities: Duties include studio setup which involves tasks not limited to camera blocking, microphone checks, lighting check, script separation as well as maintaining studio cleanliness before each newscast.

Requirements: Some education or experience in television/radio broadcasting or production is preferred. The ability to follow precise instructions in a fast paced environment is also required. Accuracy, attention to detail and a team oriented attitude are mandatory. College or technical degrees strongly considered.
