Do you love introducing people to new videos? Keeping in touch with the latest bloggers, sites, and online memes? We are looking for Online PR experts with key relationships in the blogosphere for the development, implementation and tracking of content marketing and video placements to build awareness and viewership of our content on blogs, social media and tastemaker sites.
We are looking for several positions and have content in key verticals. Expertise should be in outreach to one or more of the following content verticals areas, pleas indicate your area of expertise in your application:
Entertainment/Comedy/memes
Beauty/Lifestyle/Women
Music
Politics
Technology/social media blogs
Gaming
The ideal candidate will have a proven history of blogger outreach and strategic placement of content, and the ability to work effectively across multiple groups and stakeholders. Candidate must also have a strong understanding of YouTube and online video talent. This position requires you to hit the ground running with the ability to work from previous experience and relationships.
Responsibilities:
Increase awareness and viewership of our talent and shows by securing third party video placements on blogs, content aggregators, and social media tastemakers
Manage outreach process with bloggers and other online media
Maintain relationships with key bloggers and online tastemakers
Work with internal programming teams to create promotional calendars and execute campaigns across a large network of youtube channels
Analyze effectiveness of media and marketing data before, during and after campaign implementation
Write press releases/blogger alerts and articles for online publications
Research, identify and prioritize bloggers, forums, sites for building relationships / PR / communications
Work with analytics team to tie campaign results to youtube analytics and quantify views from embedded placements
Keep up to date with online video trends and top talent on youtube
Work with key marketing stakeholders and contribute to broader talent and show campaigns including paid, search, and social media teams
Assist programming, sales and marketing teams in the creation of long term strategy and talent development goals
Qualifications:
Existing relationships with online outlets and bloggers, including both traditional and non-traditional outlets
Ability to work under pressure, in time sensitive environment
Expert user on a variety of social media platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter
Experience with youtube content creators
Exceptional organizational and follow through skills
Ability to set and achieve goals
Attention to detail and deadlines
Ability to handle multiple priorities and communities with distributed teams
Must have excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
