About the Job

Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required.

Skills:

Thorough knowledge of broadcast business; good working knowledge of all aspects of the news process: video, editing, reporting, assignment desk, and producing; must have experience in working with web content; ability to make decisions under pressure; excellent communication, motivation, leadership, and organizational skills; strong knowledge of journalistic standards and related legal guidelines

Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years in television as a News Manager.

Duties:

Manage and assist in all aspects of daily news gathering including organization of targeted content; analyze audience research; maintain assignment desk; maintain department budget; create a productive work environment; build and maintain strong ties to the community.
