About the Job

Job Responsibilities:
•The operation and monitoring of two video switching centers in Manhattan.
•Operate various types of equipment (Encoders, Decoders, Routing Switchers, Standards conversion, etc.).
•Analyze and report problems on services and video/telco circuits.
•Verify scheduled services and ensure end-to-end continuity on all services
•Work on a daily basis with clients and maintain open communication.
•Network Scheduling when needed.
Job Qualifications:
•Customer service.
•Understanding of video, audio, SDI, HD/SDI, ASI, MPEG compression as well as other formats.
•Must know how to use waveform, vector scope, audio meters, stream analyzer and other related equipment.
•Must be willing to do shift work which may include overnights, weekends and holidays.
•Must be able to work at our other managed sites.
•Must be detail oriented and able to multitask
•Ability to work within a team environment.
Job Requirements:
Experience is required for position, preferably 2 plus years in a broadcasting environment and/or other equivalent verifiable experience.
The nature of this position requires the employee to work in an office environment. This position has no unusual physical demands. No phone calls to the facility are accepted, applications must be through the online portal. There is no relocation assistance for this position. Salary range is in the mid 40 range depending upon experience.
