Part-Time Computer / Studio Tech

We are an on-camera casting studio serving the entertainment industry...You are a versatile studio technician.

We are seeking a candidate who will perform these tasks:

• Deploy, maintain, and repair studio production equipment including camera, lighting, grip and electric.

• Set up, support, maintain and troubleshoot all electronic systems including network servers, workstations, phone systems, printers/scanners/fax, internet, audio/visual hardware and software.

• Research new products and solutions to optimize network systems and IT infrastructure.

• Install, license and upgrade computer software, plugins, peripherals.

• Recommend, research and price out improvements to hardware, software and peripherals.

• Maintain backups, archives and archive retrieval.

• Set up and maintain staff logins, profiles and permissions.

• Asset management for digital media.

• Recommend, compare, spec/price out, order improvements to studio systems, hardware, and software.

• Manage documentation of software and equipment purchases.

• Organize and maintain neat presentations of studio wiring, spare parts and materials, storage.

• Working knowledge of HTML and Content Management Systems

• Keep up-to-date with relevant, emerging technologies.

• Light carpentry and electrical work.
