Responsibilities:
Execute social strategy on news, editorial and show based Facebook and Twitter pages
Write high-quality, professional and entertaining social posts
Select and create content to push on social networks
Engage in audience development techniques to grow followers across social accounts
Help grow presence on emerging social networks including Instagram and Pinterest
Coordinate with marketing to ensure proper execution of larger network initiatives across social accounts
Keep on top of Twitter trends and identify relevant opportunities for top tweets
Track and report analytics for assigned social media accounts
Possibility of working regular hours on the weekend
Skills & Experience Required:
Strong knowledge of the celebrity and pop culture space
2+ years of experience working with editorially focused social media accounts preferred
Experience using custom CMS or similar publishing tools a plus
Strong editorial voice and writing style a plus
Understanding of latest social media best practices
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
