About the Job

A busy independent television production company, is looking for smart, proactive, organized Executive Assistant/Office Manager to run its NYC office. This person will be assisting the President of the company as well as the VP of Development.

Responsibilities include:

Heavy phones and scheduling
Coordinate and book travel, often last-minute
Select, train and supervise interns
Development research and generation of new ideas.
Maintain and oversee all utilities contracts and service (A/C, phones, internet, etc.)
Technology troubleshooting (MUST be PC and Mac literate)
Coordinate with multiple offices in different time zones
Credit cards and petty cash reports
Maintain up-to-date website and online listings (iMDB, Variety, Wikipedia), administrator for online accounts
Oversee equipment distribution, maintenance and shipping
Create production materials, releases, etc.
Provide development, production and post support as needed
Keep supplies fully stocked, maintain a clean and hospitable work environment for all

Qualifications

BA/BS in TV, communications or related field
Knowledge of Mac, PC, Outlook and Blackberry
Organized, detail-oriented
Must work well in a fast-paced environment with last-minute projects and deadlines
A self-starter able to take initiative on solo projects or work well with a team
Genuine interest in reality TV production and development
