Editor/Producer (Part Time)

We have an immediate opening for a video editor/producer in our Sherman newsroom.
Responsibilities: This position is responsible for assembling video content and producing for our evening newscasts. This entry level position requires the ability to write for broadcast and web, edit video using non-linear programs such as Sony Vegas. The position is part-time and requires up to 30 hours a week. We are looking for someone to join an experienced and tight-knit team already in place.
Requirements: Knowledge of electronic news gathering & non-linear editing required for this position. A degree in a related field is preferred. A good driving record, valid driver’s license and the ability to pass drug screening is required.
