OVERVIEW
Individual will meet with mid to senior level clients to build relationships and ascertain needs for digital media services and solutions. Clients include major Hollywood studios, independent studios and content aggregators including cable, telco and emerging digital media retailers. Responsible for explicit revenue targets.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop and implement sales plans to support achieving revenue and gross margin targets.
2. Develop, propose, negotiate and close orders for digital solutions and turnkey services including the ingestion, preparation, management, packaging and distribution of file-based professional content and associated metadata. Deal sizes from $150,000 to several million annually.
3. Responsible for achieving annual and quarterly revenue targets.
4. Integral part of the team shaping business direction of digital services, Ascents' fastest growing business.
5. Close working relationship with Operations/Client Services and Product Development, as well as communicating clear and understandable workflows to these departments.
6. Create and provide regular status reports/presentations to SVP and other members of management, as well as updating all contacts, contracts and deals in CRM (sugar).

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. 10+ years experience in a technology sales in media and entertainment industry. Track record of results in a performance oriented environment. Extremely revenue focused.
2. High degree of comfort with digital supply chain service operations. Ability to articulate benefits of transitioning from traditional to digital services. Ability to articulate financial benefits/ROI of digitizing and repurposing content libraries.
3. Can shift between selling point services (e.g., content encoding) to integrated supply chain offering
4. Access to a considerable client base at influencer and/or decision maker level a big plus.
5. Particular emphasis on small/medium libraries and content aggregators/distributors. Strong requirement for cold calling and opening new doors.
6. Bachelors Degree required, MBA preferred.
