About the Job
We are looking to find a director, for a hilarious new pilot/web series we have created. We have an extremely experienced casting director on board, along with an Academy Award nominated actress who is interested in the project. Both have said, the script is laugh out loud funny and something very special. The series is a cross between Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman meets South Park meets Die Mommie Die. There is pay, but we'd like someone who has previous experience directing TV series.
I like to be transparent, and our budget is $15,000 having raised that money independently. So we need someone who understands, that this is a labor of love for us. Our amazing casting director has waived most of her fees, and the actress will be lowering her standard fees to help accommodate our budget as well.
This is truly a rare gem. It's not only funny, but it has a very stylistic tone. My Co-Creator said, "if you got Woody Allen and Martin Scorsese together to create a show, it would be what we created".
You must be located in Los Angeles. This will be a 3 day shoot with 2 main locations. SAG-AFTRA new media contract. Please do not forget to attach your director reel. I look forward to hearing from you. Cheers.
