About the Job
The Commercial Operations Coordinator I will assemble and publish network commercial logs for all our networks. Depending upon team assignment(s), coordinate daily commercial operations with interdepartmental teams, outside departments, advertising agencies and clients.
Responsibilities
Develops a solid understanding of our network and departmental standard operating procedures for each sport; including break structure, formats and sales and operational guidelines. Ensures that all Sales Orders are coordinated and managed for accurate on air execution, according to deadlines and deal points. Acquire advertising materials for each piece of business from advertising agencies, clients and packagers. Input into NCS and verify. Organize and coordinate paint box sessions with Graphics and Production Operations Departments. Design, create, publish and deliver on-air logs. Responsible for product exclusivity, product conflict and fair and equal rotation of orders. Prepare daily commercial guidelines for live programming and “if necessary” situations. Develop a basic understanding of the departments that work closely with Commercial Operations. Gain a solid understanding of the NCS Traffic application and basic understanding of other NCS applications as they relate to Commercial Operations. Develop a solid understanding of one departmental team functionality, handling responsibilities and functions as assigned. Gain a basic understanding of other departmental functionalities. Communicate effectively with all contacts, both in and out of the department. Accurately maintain records and consistently file for archives.
Basic Qualifications
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Detail oriented with the ability to work under pressure with constantly changing deadlines in a team environment. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
At least one year traffic operations, customer service or television work experience in a fast paced environment. Sports knowledge Experience with NCS.
