About the Job
We are looking for experienced, bi-lingual (Spanish/English) writers to help us create a dynamic, short-form, weekly Latin pop culture round up comedy series.
You are funny, with keen insights into Latin culture, pop and otherwise. You turn that insight into compelling scenarios and dialogue that keep people coming back for more. You have comprehensive knowledge of digital media and understand the effect mobile and broadband screens (and on-demand viewing habits) have on content. You thrive in fast-paced, quick turnaround situations. You are well-organized, a willing collaborator, take pride in delivering amazing stuff on narrow budgets and can put aside ego for the sake of the product.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• 100% Accountable for content quality on all assignments
• Work with producers, directors and executive team to create dynamic, original short-form content
• Write quickly, cleanly, within schedule and budget
• Tell compelling stories within a short-form format
• Manage time, assets and resources to maximize efficiency
• Great communicator across all interactions on status updates and content
REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 3 years experience writing for entertainment magazine and/or comedy shows
• Extensive experience with short-form digital content
• Ability to execute high-quality and high-volume on short turn-arounds
• Manage time and multiple projects/responsibilities
• Be able to meet tight deadlines creatively and cleanly
• Adaptable to changing situations
• A willing collaborator
