About the Job
We are looking to build out an LA Based post team for a one hour episodic drama. This is for a major network and the ideal candidate has credits on several network episodics. The start date is TBD but most likely in late July early august for 13 episodes. Please submit your resume/credits list, references, and your rate. We will only be considering local LA Talent even though post is going remote on a global basis.
We are looking for the following positions:
- Avid Editors - Must have experience cutting prime time one hour script based series for a network. Familiarity with Avid v6, Unity/Isis, AMA, conforming, Titling, and working with Alexa footage.
- Assistant Editors - You own media management and you keep your house in order. You can can do rough cuts and your editors think you are a rock star. You handle multiple formats, conversions, transcoding, relinking, and EDL/ALE prep with ease. You know Avid, Unity/Isis, AMA, Relinking, basic troubleshooting, and archiving.
- Colorists / Online Editors - Seeking multi-talented colorists who can also do finishing. Experience with Avid Symphony and Resolve. Experience working with Baselight, Scratch, and OSD is a bonus. The ideal candidate is a colorist who can also jump back in to Avid Symphony and finish/master a show.
- DIT / Data Wrangler - You have credits on network shows and you are able to multitask to deliver dailies with Scratch or On Set Dailies. You are a master of keeping media moving and organized. You know how to work with the DP and the camera department as well as post. You find ways to make workflows better and faster and your paperwork is flawless
