About the Job
We have a rare opening for a nightly news co-anchor on our flag ship newscast at 6 pm.
It's a statewide broadcast that covers an area roughly the size of the Lower 48.
We are looking for a strong anchor who will do much more than just read copy. Our anchors are also reporters who contribute to our newscasts and our growing web site.
Our anchors are self-starters who aggressively cover the news events of the day. They are also part of the Alaska community representing the station during community events.
This is a great opportunity to cover some very unique stories and live amongst some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world.
Applicants must have at least two years of news reporting and anchoring experience. This is not an entry-level position nor are we an entry-level station.
Work schedule is Mon - Fri, 10am - 7pm.
