I love commercials and I am one of the few who rewind FOR the commercials. If someone can make you laugh, love, hate or change your thinking in 30 seconds, I think that is talent; that is art! I recently saw an Absolut Vodka commercial entitled “Anthem” that was so visually inspiring to me that I felt compelled to do a little research to find out who the director was. A How I Met Your Mother Themed Party

I was raised on pop culture. Not in a creepy The Cable Guy kind of way where I can ONLY function in the make-believe worlds of my favorite television shows. As of yet I haven’t introduced myself as Lindsey Weir or Maeby Funke, but I do find myself relating real life back to series arcs, dropping in random quotes, and analyzing character moments as though they were real, all too often. Needless to say, when my friend decided he wanted to go play laser tag for his birthday and on the invite he had a picture of Barney Stinson and Robin Scherbatsky in full laser tag gear, I got super excited.
