Forming part of a worldwide business that spans 300 cities across 125 countries you will be joining a global marketing communications agency that transform brands and grows businesses, large and small, in the private or public sector on a national and international scale. Based just north of Macclesfield their Manchester agency employs 250 people and now require a highly creative Motion Graphics Designer / Editor to join the team.

With a background in graphic design with Post Production experience the Motion Graphics Designer / Editor will produce commercials and idents across a range of clients. Joining a small team you should be able to follow a brief without supervision, be comfortable working alone and capable of using your own initiative to deliver great work. In other words you should be able to demonstrate...

• A strong typographical and design background (preferably a graphics graduate who has moved over to 3d and film).
• A good knowledge of editing techniques and an ability to tell stories in film.
• A strong interest in camera work, sound recording, lighting etc.
• Illustration and animation skills.
• The ability to work solo and as part of a small team.
• Coding and Rigging may become part of this job so this experience would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of compression for broadcast and online.
• 2d - After Effects/ Final Cut/Premier/Photoshop/Illustrator.
• 3d – Cinema 4d (but also Max/Maya/Zbrush could be useful).
• Authoring (DVD studio pro).
