I have been an editor for 6 years, and for the past 3 years I have been in charge of maintaining and organizing six Final Cut Pro edit suites for a large corporate Video Network.
I have recently finished an AVID class at The Manhattan Edit Workshops, and am well on my way to being proficient with AVID Media Composer. As you will see from my resume I have worked in many facets of the television industry. I have a technical background, can quickly adapt to any situation and am very good at trouble shooting. All of my experiences have contributed greatly to my skills as an editor.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

MERRILL LYNCH VIDEO NETWORK, Hopewell, New Jersey

Responsible for the organization and scheduling of the Merrill Lynch in house post production facility, consisting of six edit suites. Creatively work with producers and directors on all aspects of post production including: visual style, story, music, graphics, compression, output, and archiving

Selected accomplishments:

• Editor on a series of client profile stories, which were designed to highlight the broad scope of
Merrill Lynch clients, and the unique relationships they have with their Financial Advisors.
These videos served as a catalyst for the Merrill Lynch 2007 National Advertising Campaign
and would contribute to the Merrill Lynch Marketing Team being named, 2007 Marketer of the
Year, by the Financial Communications Society.

Delivered contract video editing services to clients in various areas of television production. Worked with producers and directors to put together professionally packaged shows to be broadcast on public television, cable television, Internet, and rivate events.

Selected accomplishments:

• Here! Network -Love & Sex series: Miami, Palm Springs, Philadelphia, San Francisco. A short
format show which highlights nightlife and culture in various cities throughout the country.
• Here! Network -News series: Richard Burns Anniversary. A short format show focused on
social issues and challenges faced in the LGBT community.
• PBS Series “Jim Knox’s Wild Zoofari: Los Angeles Zoo” Fun and energetic half hour
educational program for kids, hosted by wildlife expert Jim Knox.

AUDIO ENGINEER / MULTI-MEDIA SPECIALIST, 4/2003 – 4/2005
MERRILL LYNCH VIDEO NETWORK, Plainsboro, New Jersey

Served as lead audio engineer on all corporate communication broadcasts for Merrill Lynch. Mixed live shows daily to locations across the United States and internationally. Maintained the Merrill Lynch Video Network intranet website, by updating and archiving broadcasts as windows media, streaming audio, and flash video.

Selected accomplishments:

• Served as central audio engineer on broadcasts with parties in London and New York, working
from the central audio hub in Princeton. The shows consisted of multiple mixed minus feeds,
and a variety of sources including audio hybrids, fiber feeds, phones, and video sources.
• Collaborated with the engineering department on layout and construction of new production
facilities for the New York and Hopewell offices. Performed equipment installation, and tested
equipment for functionality and placement.
