Going places nobody else will go...directing and shooting are my passions.

I have worked in many 3rd world countries under extremely harsh circumstances including the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Tanzania, Cuba, and most recently, India, where I filmed a documentary on the Dalai Lama. I also recently directed, “Brave Planet”, a pilot for GRB Entertainment.

I understand the many hats required and the difficulties involved in getting travel projects completed and delivered to networks such as National Geographic, Discovery or PBS.

I have faced Mai-Mai Militiamen, corrupt government officials and gorillas in the DR Congo, lions and a severe tsetse fly attack in Tanzania, I’ve been chased 3 times by rhinos in Uganda, I’ve met with the Taliban and worked through a terrible attack of altitude sickness in the Himalayas, and…I survived filming Tommy Lee Jones.

I also produce many of the programs that I shoot. My commitment to each and every project guarantees that I get the shot.

In summary, I am a filmmaker . . . someone who is well rounded in all aspects of production. I consider my wide range of experience an advantage that allows me to plan ahead, stay organized, and trouble-shoot.
