About me
I'm a comedy writer and Writers Guild member with a number of credits and ongoing projects. For example:
-- I've been writing for the Onion since 1996, and wrote the first Onion story to be optioned in Hollywood ("Tenth Circle Added To Rapidly Growing Hell").
-- I sold a film treatment (an adaptation of a nonfiction book) and am working on my first original screenplay.
-- I've written TV comedy both full-time (for Politically Incorrect) and as a freelancer (for the Late Late Show).
--I have written, performed, and produced a variety of audio comedy, including radio plays and radio spots.
--I do the voiceovers for all Lucent Technologies sales training films. It pays well and it's fun to say things like, "Now crimp the Category 5 wire into the face plate."
--I am the founder and former leader of the Luchs Brothers, a four-brother comedy act specializing in sketch humor.
My current goal is to get a full-time or freelance comedy writing gig either in television or at a new media enterprise run by people who know how to use the Web. I'm also interested in freelance scriptwriting projects in any medium.
