The Content Support role gives operative and editorial support to the Editors that create the content in our department. Among other things, this role takes care of tasks to control the freshness and quality of our software database, as well as offering support to the Editors, searching for information, creating images, uploading videos and other tasks.

Mother-tongue or very advanced level of Italian AND English are critical for this position, as the Content support will mainly support the Italian and English Content teams. THE POSITION IS BASED IN BARCELONA.

Main responsibilities:

- Keep our software database updated, making sure the offered versions of the programs are the latest ones and updating them when necessary, to guarantee the latest versions to our users
- Control the quality of our software database and perform maintenance tasks, to make sure information and related media (e.g. screenshots, videos) are correct/up to date
- Enrich our software database publishing new programs without review or with a developer description
- Enrich our content creating images, screenshots and searching/publishing external videos (trailers and official developer’s videos)
- Research information (e.g. news, technical data, articles, white papers, images) that can be serve as sources for Editors to create content on identified global topics (e.g. Windows 8 release)
- Feed and manage a centralized library of images, videos and documents to be the source reference for the Content department
- Blacklist programs that do not comply to our legal standards

Minimum requirements:

- Good knowledge of Windows OS
- English and Italian. Mother-tongue level in at least one of them. Very advanced level in the other one,
- knowledge of image editing
- Ability to research information, images and videos on the web
- Team player
- High level of responsibility, self-motivation and enthusiasm
- Problem solving, with analytical and initiative skills
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-moving, sometimes stressful environment
- Efficient time and tasks management
- Adaptability to perform diverse types of tasks

Desired requirements:

- Good knowledge of Spanish and additional languages (other than English)
- Good knowledge of software and technology trends
- Experience with Content Management Systems
- Capability to manage, share and communicate information efficiently
- Capability to learn new tasks and improve skills in an autodidact way
- Good writing skills
- On-line writing experience (blogging or similar)
