THE PLACE: Beautiful, sunny Fort Lauderdale, FL

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

The VP-Director of Media Planning is a new position responsible for overseeing day-to-day activity of all agency accounts assigned, and the negotiation and purchase of all local activity in all active markets. This includes appropriate added value properties. You must also maintain knowledge of market conditions that may impact planning for clients.

The VP-Director of Media Planning will be active in new business and assisting the Exec VP in client relations, strategic direction and media product management.

In addition, you will be responsible for the supervision and training of Media Supervisors, Media Planners, and Assistant Planners; the periodic review of buying/planning guidelines/criteria with ExecVP, Media Director; the recommendation of revisions where necessary; the coordination with Exec VP, Media Director in setting departmental policies; and insuring adherence to policies on assigned accounts. You will be responsible for maintaining and reviewing all research and systems applications and needs.

The ideal candidate will also have diverse experience in traditional and non traditional applications centered on ROI and retail performance. We seek a dynamic and well versed media professional to play a major role in impacting our clients our continuing our new and existing media services success.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent, relevant experience.
10+ years experience as an Associate Media Director in an advertising agency.
