MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred 2 years non-linear and tape to tape experience in medium size market. Knowledge of operation of editing equipment Expertise in creative use of composition, sound and editing.

JOB EXPECTATIONS: Editing scripts with videotape ensuring video matches copy using Betacam SX and SP tape. Edit tape both linear and non-linear. Adapt to changing duties such as breaking or developing news stories (being on call as required). Edit special projects, series and the ability to pan in and adjust live remotes including setup and operation of microwave and satellite receivers. Staying informed of local and national news plus current events. Ability to work independently or as a team.
