We are looking for a full time proactive salesperson for sales, customer service and marketing of our products and services in the fast-paced, continually changing entertainment lighting industry. Our customer base is generally comprised of the film, video, photographic, theatrical and cruise line industries.
Responsibilities of the position include:
•Maintain and develop existing contracted accounts to optimize customer satisfaction and growth opportunities
•Act as the primary contact between Barbizon and assigned accounts
•Negotiate price within established guidelines
•Respond to and follow up on sales inquiries using established methods
•Assist with walk-in customers
•Meet with vendors to look for ways to improve product knowledge and sales techniques
Qualified candidates will have:
•Extensive sales experience and related product knowledge
•Proven track record as a sales person, preferably in any area of the entertainment field
•Extensive related experience in telephone sales/telemarketing and customer service oriented positions
•Demonstrated ability to listen to the customer, identify their needs and close the sale
•Software skills appropriate to the position
•Demonstrated ability to work both as part of a team and independently
•Project Management experience is a plus
•Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
