Ideal candidate will write, produce and edit video for newscast promotions. This includes news topicals, teases, coverage spots and POP's. Individual must have strong writing abilities combined with strong communication and people skills. Experience editing video in a nonlinear environment is a must. Candidate must be able to work under pressure, and meet strict deadlines. Individual must work closely with newsroom staff, attending meetings and collaborating with producers and reporters. They will also work with the Design Department in ordering and reviewing graphics.

Candidate must have 2-5 years major market writing/producing experience. College degree and computer knowledge required. Working knowledge of AVID Media Composer and Final Cut Pro preferred.
